Arkansas Youth Adventures is a high adventure summer camp located near the scenic War Eagle River in Northwest Arkansas. They offer sessions for youth ages 11 – 16 from June through August varying from seven day high adventures to three day treks. Knowledgeable and experienced staff, guide campers on recreational trips throughout the backcountry of the Ozark Plateau. Activities included are canoeing, caving, rock climbing, bouldering, rappelling, fly fishing, backpacking, orienteering, and adventure racing. All instructors are either Leave No Trace Master Educators or Trainers and will make a difference in the way that campers see and care for our natural world. Safety is priority when leading trips in the backcountry. The Arkansas Youth Adventure staff collectively holds the following certifications: Wilderness First Responder, First Responder, Wilderness First Aid, First Aid, Adult/Child CPR/AED, and Lifeguard.
