* A Fresh Life crew went out and helped in the clean up effort in NW Arkansas after the 2009 ice storm. It is said to be one of the worst storms in recent history for the Ozark region.

* With a time of 14hrs 15 min, Team Fresh Life finished the 2008 Ozark Adventure Race with 13 cold CP's completed. They made the cut off at CP 13 and chose to continue instead of return to the finish as some other teams did. After that they made a wrong turn. That was the difference between 10th place and 4th or 5th. Oh well it was good times for all.
